Hartlepool United's allocation of 22,500 tickets for the Playoff Final are now on sale. However, unless you're a disabled fan you won't be able to get a ticket from Victoria Park - Pools have had to use the See agency to distribute their allocation.

Tickets can be purchased online here, or by phone on 0870 060 1030. With 22,500 available and the possibility of even more to come, you wouldn't expect getting hold of a ticket to be a problem - although how many may go to followers of Sheffield Wednesday from our allocation now is open for debate.

To be fair though, Pools are somewhat caught by a cleft stick in this case and have chosen what is probably the least worst option. There have been complaints often enough about how they have handled ticket sales in the past - trying to shift more than we've ever sold before using our existing systems would have been a complete non-starter. The Football League have apparently recommended this agency, and while there will no doubt be more than the odd grumble about how it will cost fans up to an extra £2.50 per ticket (plus a transaction fee of £1.50) it's hard to see what other option we had.

The only exception to this policy is Disabled Fans, who should contact the club directly for details of the 56 places available.

Update! It seems that to start with at least when you purchase tickets via the Website it cross-checks against the Club's Database to make sure you are registered with it. This should help make sure that tickets go to the people they are intended for - the fans of HUFC. Well done to all at the Club for getting this in place!
