Craig Hignett says this week's game against bottom club Dagenham and Redbridge is not a six pointer. He's right it's more than that ...
It's a must win game for Pools if we are to avoid last season's drama. Win and we go nine points clear of the bottom place and, with York hosting high flying Barnet, we may even go eight points clear of the relegation zone itself.
Lose and the pressure really comes on to win at least two of the games we have in hand - as all three are away that will be a big ask.
Hignett is therefore unlikely to make any changes to the side which won at Barnet. Rob Jones will add his considerable height to the defence, while Lewis Hawkins will be implored to shoot whenever he gets within thirty yards of the goal following his superb strikes last week.
Dagenham aren't scoring many goals but they've managed to keep three clean sheets in the last four games so patience may prove to be a virtue.
