Relief All Round

Pools simply must build on the superb 3-1 win at Barnet by beating Dagenham at the Vic this week ...

The Daggers beat York at the weekend which was the best outcome for us . It puts us five  points ahead of the Minstermen and seven ahead of this week's visitors - who also host Carlisle on Tuesday.

Losing this game is unthinkable. Win it and we will relieve a massive amount o pressure and gain the confidence to get something out of one or more of the three away games we have in reserve.

If we play like we did at in-form Barnet we should do that. Despite going behind after eleven minuets we came back with two superb long range strikes from the increasingly effective Lewis Hawkins, and then Nathan Jones got the goal he has been promising.

Interestingly he popped up on the right of the box and used his skills to jink inside and strike a curler with his trusty left foot.

Training will be more fun this week.
