Squad Too Thin

Magnay

Two home games - seven goals conceded. That is a doze of reality if ever one was needed with the 3-2 defeat by Carlisle the hardest result to take.

If Carl Magnay had not had to leave the pitch early in the second half it may have been different. Instead of pulling men back into midfield to hold onto the 2-1 lead Ronnie Moore decided to leave the formation as it was and it played into Carlisle's hands.

Ebby Nelson-Addy came on for Magnay but he struggled with the defensive duties the role entailed .

That allowed a physical Carlisle to dominate and sneak that late win.

Moore is now busy trying to bring in reinforcements.
