Nelson-Addy

The last game of the season was the one that all Pools fans were dreading. For weeks it looked like this may be a game we had to win to stay in the league. Instead we coss country to Carlisle  knowing we are safe and that is massive relief to Ronnie Moore and his army of Bob Marleys ....

It gives Sir Ronnie the opportunity bring in Eddy Nelson-Addy. The wideman is looking to resurrect his league career after droppin g in to non-league depsite a promising 12 years at Villa as a schoolboy.

Otherwise there's not many changes with David Mirfin back at Scunthorpe and Bates continuing after a solid show in last week's clincher against Exeter.

Meanwhile Moore has already started his planning for next seaaon with Kieran Green and Connor Smith signing professional deals. Eighteen year old

Green, has been with Pools since Under-15 level and was with the senior squad to Spain in pre-season. Smith who is  17, can operate on the wing or up front.

The retained list will be interesting and probably quite small.....

Carlisle: Gillespie, Grainger, Potts, Atkinson, O’Hanlon, Griffith, Kennedy, Brough, Dempsey, Wyke, Young.

Subs: Buddle, Paynter, Dicker, Thirlwell, Beck, Hanford, Rigg.

Pools: Flinders, Duckworth, Harrison, Bates, Austin, Franks, Featherstone, Tshibola, Nelson-Addy, Fenwick, Hugill.

Subs: Maxted, Richards, Miller, J. Jones, Walker, Smith, Hawkins, Harewood.
