Manager Moore

Ronnie Moore looks like the man who will this week take charge of the last chance saloon. The 61 year old will need all of his experience if he still wants the job after watching Pools beaten 4-0 at Burton ...

He has managd Tranmere twice as well as Oldham and Rotherham, but fell from grace after what has to be said appears to be a relatively minor offence involving placing bets on his own account for family members.

The FA fined him £2,000, gave him a one-month suspension which was suspended for two years.

He knows Pools, of course, as his son Ian played for the club. On paper he could well be the ideal candidate - a man with vast experience and under no illusion of what needs to be done and having the strength to get on and do it.

TRFC fan - Not a bad choice, I reckon we would not have been relegated last year had he not been suspended by the club. It may be to much to turn around but Ronnie would certainly give it a go for you.
