We get so few penalties you can hardly blame Neil Austin for being a bit flustered when he got the chance to equalise from the spot. Sadly for him, and us, we will never know if our season would have taken off if he'd netted instead of hitting the roof of the stand ...

Efficient league eladers Wycombe Wanderers went on to add another two to Paris Cowan-Hall's first half header before Marlon Harewood got our late consolation.

As a result we are now six points adrift after Tranmere beat Portsmouth.

Next up is Blyth, BBC2 and a night of references to "bottom club Hartlepool United."  Let's hope for a morale boosting win - and you wouldn't bet get against Aussie scoring from the spot.
