If you take the lead away from home after just 45 seconds you would expect it to increase confidence and galvanize the side to fight to hold what they have ... er not Pools .
Charlie Wyke have us the best possible start -slotting home in our first attack but that just served to irritate the home team.
The way in which they knocked in five was embarassing with the Pools defence unable to deal with crosses. Worse still was a nasty head injury to Wyke which means he will miss the long trip to Plymouth who must be rubbing their hands with glee at the prospect of our arrival.
Three hundred made it to Northapmpton. Any of them who make it to Plymouth deserve a season ticket for life - presnted when they have finished their counselling.
