After last week's tremendous win at Wimbledon we could have done with a home game. Instead, we have another very difficult trip to Whaddon Road where Cheltenham will be buoyed by their own dramatic away win.
They came from behind to win 3-2 at Tranmere and will be odds on favourites to overcome Pools.
But with nothing to lose the game presents us with a chance to have a real good go and get the season well and truly back on track.
There's unlikely to be many changes with the biggest decision on whether to play want away Luke James. He's returned to training only to find that Peterborough have gone and signed Gatheshead striker Marcus Maddison instead of him - the Gateshead player, of course, we were looking to sign.
Posh are becoming our bogey team at the moment, at least in terms of signings, and you can see us being drawn at their place in the Cup the way things are going.
Expect James to be on the bench and wouldn't it be good if he came off the becnh to score a winner?
