Hartlepool walloped Swansea 7-1 to set up a nailbiting final day. The synopsis of today is that Rushden & D, Shrewsbury and Hartlepool and are in the mix for 2 play-off places. Assuming a win at for Hartlepool at Exeter next Saturday, if either of the former teams fail to win next week we're in. A day of two Clark(e)s. Darryl nets 3 for Pools whilst former Vic Park favourite, the Ginger Ginola himself put Scunthorpe out of the running with a goal in each half.

A historic event took place today at Hartlepool. As the half time scores were announced, a Darlington winning scoreline was greeted with raptuous cheers by the Pools faithful for the first and possibly only ever time.
