The injury situation is not as bad as feared but Colin Cooper has still brought in two Sunderland players to shore up the squad ahead of the home game against Cheltenham, ..
Centre back Scott Harrison and full back will be at the Vic for the rest of the season.
Neither is likely to start against Cheltenham with only Tony Sweeney definitely ruled out after injuring a thigh on Tuesday. In a disastrous second half we lost Jack Compton (hamstring), Marlon Harewood (ankle), Darren Holden (back) as well as Sweeney. Skipper Sam Collins took a knock in the face but trained yesterday as did Compton.
The good news is that Simon Walton has served his suspension and Man U have let Jack Barmby stay until the end of the season - so the only real issue facing Cooper is what to do up front if Marlon Harewood doesn't come throuih a fitness test. James Poole is standing by.
