Pools Unchanged

Colin Cooper looks set to name an unchanged side to take on basement boys Northampton Town ...

If he does it looks ike it will be Luke Williams' last game as Boro have said they want him back to figure in the first team squad.

If that is the case then Cooper may do better by starting with Barmby in his place. He came on late against Southend last week and looked to have the big name Man U curse on him - trying tyo hard to impress from the outset and, as  a result, his only real contribution was to gentlky shepherd a wayward pigeon from the pitch.

He looks like he will benefit from starting rather than coming off the bench.

Otherwise it's an opportunity to close the gap on the play-off places, but only if the team works hard frotm the outset. The Cobblers are fighting for their lives and have nothing to lose so this is potentially one big banana skin for a resurgent Pools.
