Barmby and Son

Jack Barmby

Colin Cooper and Craig Hignett'ss circle of contacts seems to be a bit limited to old teammates, but having failed to win a game in 2014, or scored a goal for that matter, Cooper seems to have done very well in persuading a Man United starlet to sign on loan for Pools ..

Even in a failing club [joke] Jack Barmby has been a stand out young player. He was top scorer for the  Man U youth team a couple of years ago and has played for England Under 19's. If he's anything like his dad was at his prime then he will give us a big boost.

Jack is officially labelled as an attacking midfield player, and so is another loan signing from [you guessed it] the Boro. Twenty year old Luke Williams has played four times for Boro's first team this season including the FA Cup defeat by Hull.

Unsurprisingly,  both will be in the squad to take on York.

Colin Cooper was born in Trimdon.
