A Point At Last

Colin Cooper was pleased by the goalless draw at York and our first point of the campaign - but he' s still rushing to bring in a striker ahead of the game with Fleetwood Town on Saturday.

Pools were the better team but neither side really tested the opposition goalkeeper.

Howard should have had a penalty early doors but the foul was given outside the box then he received a yellow card for an elbow which might easily have been a red.

We huffed and puffed and anxiety meant that what chances were created were scorned.

Once again James Poole was full of actioon and man of the match. That was about it.
