It's Never Over Until the Penguin Flies

John Hughes says the rendition of "I Believe I Can Fly" by the Poolie Penguin Colony made his day on Saturday. He seems the kind of bloke who can take inspiration from things like this and let's he hope he does as he has an important summer coming up  ....

It will be another hard season despite dropping down a level, and let's not be fooled by the improved performance in 2013.

The squad is deficient in some key areas and Hughesy has mentioned bringing in 7 or 8 new players. Sadly, budgetary matters may tie his hands and effort to bring in a striker thwarted by the fact that there's not many about and everyone else wants them.

So what might a realistic Pools starting line up look like come August. My humble thoughts:
