I suppose we had to expect a reaction from Donnie following their 4-0 home defeat by Swansea at the weekend - and we got it. We were never at the races and only some last ditch defending and several goal line clearances kept the score down to respectable proportions....
Stranagely we started with Foley up front against a big Donnie defence and we did look a lot more threatening when Ritchie Barker came on on the hour mark for Thompson.
But it was too late by then with Wellens firsing the home side in front after 34 minutes and then Lockwood sealing the game twenty minutes later.
Doncastser are now second top so not too much disgarce there but am I alone in thinking that the way we chop and change the side evry week doesn't help?
OK, injuries and suspensions get in the way, but does anyone in charge at Pool know what the best starting 11 is? I don't think they do.
