Wrexham have signed Hartlepool striker Michael Proctor on a months loan. The league 2 strugglers are in desperate need of a striker and Proctor is in need of games so the switch seems to be the perfect solution

Hartlepool striker Michael Proctor will go out on loan to Wrexham for one month. At the beginning of the week he was on his way to Boston but after the deal fell through Wrexham came in and Proctor went out

Proctor has never really impressed the vast majority of the Pool faithful and the loan to Wrexham seems to be Proctors chance to prove his worth.

Proctor has only made three first team appearneces this season and has been out for most of it with injury.

Proctor will certainly struggle to get back into the Pools side with the transfer of Barker and Porter on the mend, E Williams in fine form and James Brown capable of up-front and on the wing

Wrexham have also confirmed the signing of former Pools keeper Tony Williams on a months loan from League 1 side Carlisle. Williams was in the side that got promotion in 2003 but was dropped after only one game under Neale Cooper as Jim Provett became the Pools number 1.
