Hartlepool will make the long trip south knowing a win will take Pools joint top after Lincoln beat Walsall 2-1 on Friday night. Pools will be expected to win with Torquay sitting bottom of the league
Hartlepool take on bottom of the league Torquay tomorow knowing a win will move us joint top of the league with Walsall and also Pools will be looking to extend their long and pround unbeaten run which now stand at 15 games.
Hartlepool have beaten promotion chasers Swindon and Walsall with back-to-back victories and manager Danny Wilson has warned against complacency going into the game this weekend.
Torquay have recently undergone new management with Collin Lee becoming Director of football and Keith Curle becoming the head coach, which I think is the same thing as manager. Torquay also have big problems back stage as several of longest serving diectors have all walked out and things don't look to bright down on the English Riviera.
Torquay also have problems on the pitch with 3 of their first 4 defenders out either injured, suspended or both. Steve Woods, Steve Villis and Craig Taylor are all out of the back line and Stev Angus will also miss the game through suspension after seeing red against Lincoln last week
Hartlepool could have Willie Boland back in the squad but his place in the team is not guarenteed after several great performances by Sweeney and Liddle in the middle
Earlier in the season Hartlepool could only manage a point against the Gulls when Lee Bullock fired home a late equiliser
