Tonights game is between two sides that have already played twice this season. However this time it is league points that are a stake.
Hartlepool are looking to make it 5 wins in 5 league games when Rochdale travel to The Vic for the second time in as many months. A win for Pools tonight will also keep us in the playoff positions going into the Christmas period.
These two sides should know each other well after the FA Cup ties. THe first ending 1-1 with a goal from James Brown for Pools. The replay went all the way to penalties and Hartlepool put this seasons penalty jinx behind them.
Rochdale have lost 2 and won 1 of their last 3 games and are sitting only 2 places above the relegation positions.
Jon Daly, E Williams and Micky Barron are hoping to be ready for the game after shaking off injuries but the selection of them is not guarenteed after good performances in the last few games.
