It will be the second time this season Hartlepool have travelled to Macclesfield but this time it is all about the cup. The FA Cup is said to be the biggest club tournament in the world and Hartlepool are looking to move one step closer to Wembley
Hartlepool are through to the second round after beating Rochdale on penalties and the reward for that was a trip to the bottom side of the football league.
Pools have already faced Macc Town this season at Moss Rose and the game finished 0-0. This time both sides will be after the win desperately because winning in the second round result in a huge money spinning tie when the Premiership clubs enter in the third round
Hartlepool and Macclesfield are both down on numbers as Paul Inces men are in the middle on an injury nightmare and Hartlepool are with Duffy, Monkhouse, D Williams and Liddle aswell as Porter and Proctor who are out with long term injuries
The bookies are expecting the game to be close with both sides 6/4 to win and a draw at 9/4
