Yohan Cabaye has been dropped by Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew after today's bid for him by Arsenal which was rejected. Yanga-Mbiwa starts, whilst Cisse is supported by Yoan Gouffran. Aguero is fit and starts for Manchester City with Dzeko and Silva to support him, whilst new signing Negredo starts on the bench.

Substitutes

 Pantilimon, Kolarov, Garcia, Rodwell, Milner, Nasri, Negredo

Pretty much the same team that got spanked for the last 6-7 games last season then , good to see we've improved the squad and tactics over the summer !
Can't believe I was actually lookin forward to the start of the season - I'm guessing its gonna be a long one
