When Arteta insisted on signing Raya many Arsenal fans were puzzled, surely he had a good goalkeeper already. But to be a great manager you must have a great keeper, good isn't enough. Clough demonstrated that at Forest with Shilton, Graham at Arsenal with Seaman, and Wenger with Jens Lehmann. Raya didnt let Arteta down with his stunning performance against Atalanta last night in the first match day of the newly inflated Champions League.
