Arsenal drew for the first time in 28 games today. If they had drawn once during run in last season we would have qualified for the CL. Instead it was bad news it's a worry that the Gunners are looking knackered already. It was a match they could have won inspite of poor refereeing. The only conclusion is fatigue. January is a long way off for reinforcements that we badly needed before this season even started.  

Player ratings follow:

Aaron Ramsdale: 6. Went long a lot today. Handled the amount of corners against us well

Ben White: 7. A great assist for Xhaka's goal.
Not so great for Saints goal. But otherwise did well. Would still like a proper R/Back though.

William Saliba: 6. He was the C/Back who almost messed up this week.
Need to concentrate more.

Gabriel: . 7. Our best defender today.

Takehiro Tomiyasu: 4. Poor for their goal. Not a good display at all really.

Thomas Partey: 5. Excellent 1st half. Utter rubbish 2nd half.

Granit Xhaka: 7. Great goal but anonymous 2nd half.

Martin Odegaard: 5. Missed a good chance 1st half.
Then his invisible man act 2nd half.
Poor example for a captain when you're subbed most games.

Bukayo Saka: 6.. For some reason the terrible Ref gave him an undeserved yellow, which didn't help.
Another 1st half good 2nd half Poor.

Gabriel Jesus: 5. Some poor attempts of finishing. Bossed and jaded as game went on.

Gabriel Martinelli: 6. Great 1st half poor 2nd half.

Substitutes -

Kieran Tierney: 6. Made a difference when he came on going forward. Unlucky for an assist.

Eddie Nketiah: 4. Really...Had a chance but scuffed it.
We have to get better than him.

Fabio Vieira: 1. Gets 1 for being able to walk onto the pitch.
