Its the Centre backs that won it, in attack and defence. Holdings first Premiership goal this season (Is it his first ever?) A tough often scrappy game that perhaps Arsenal should have scored more in, but its the points that count at this stage. WEST HAM 1 ARSENAL 2

Ramsdale 6 - Some good saves but very rash with the Bowen tackle

Tomiyasu 7 - One on one he’s imperious. Hopefully not out again
Holding 9 - Scored. Cleared everything. Awesome performance
Gabriel 7 - Got the winner. Decent in defence
Tavares 6 - As Gatusso would say, “Sometimes good, sometimes it’s sh.it”

Xhaka 6 - Conservative with his passing
El Neny 6 - see Xhaka
Ødegaard 5 - Unusually sloppy

Saka 7 - Dangerous and got an assist
Nketiah 7 - Working like a demon. Shooting indifferent
Martinelli 6 - Good assist but very quiet
