After a rubbish first half where we were the second best team, we improved in the second half and went 2-0 up with two every un-Arsenal like goals, before Joel Campbell sealed the win with an excellent first goal for the club. Wasn't going to be easy today with 8 players out injured but in the end we managed to dig deep and get the three points. Very happy with a clean sheet after we were so poor defensively in the first half.

Cech - 7. Did everything he had to do well with no fuss.

Bellerin - 7. Tough game against Montero but did okay. Excellent tackle on Gomis when he looked sure to score.
Mertesacker - 6. Some iffy moments, notably his passing and stepping up.
Koscielny - 8. Best defender today by a mile, and nicked the second goal.
Monreal - 6. Not as good as he has been in recent weeks, and saved by the offside flag twice.

Coquelin - 6. Not one of those days where we needed to see the best of Le Coq, but he was sound.
Cazorla - 7. Probably our best player in the first half, and kept us ticking in the second half.

Campbell - 7. Worked very hard to protect Bellerin but the quality on the ball wasn't always there... Until a fantastic finish for his first Arsenal goal for the third goal of the match.
Ozil - 7. Not as influential as he has been in recent weeks. Better second half where he got two assists.
Alexis - 5. Another off day I'm afraid. Passing and finishing were both poor.

Giroud - 7. Little involvement in the first half but missed his one good chance. Much better second half and scored a good header from an Ozil corner.

Subs:

Chambers - N/A. Not on long enough.
Gibbs - N/A.       Ditto.
Iwobi - N/A.       Ditto.

 (Note from Editor,  I agree Kos had great game but I would still make Ozil MotM. Two assists and some brilliant midfield play, without his genius we may never have won.)
