Today we saw the tactical genius of Arsene Wenger displayed in all its might. Yes he organised his penalty shootout spot on. And now those of us who thought Kallstrom was a joke signing have egg on our face. Of course Wenger didn't buy him to play, but to bring on for penalty shoot-outs, and he didnt let us down. Not being fit didnt matter as he wasn't expecting a shoot out until today.

Meanwhile Fabianski was my Man of the Match as he singlehandedly won the game for the team.
Triumphant Arsenal fans sang We are on our way to Wemberlee as they left, any more games like that and they can count me out.

Fabianski 8 - little to do, one mad moment, done very well in the penalty shoot out

Sagna 6 - solid in defence, useless in attack
Mertesacker 6 - ok, stupid foul for the penalty, made up for it with our goal,
Vermaelen 6 - ok
Monreal 4 - awful give away for their goal

Arteta 6 - steady, did not do enough - scored his penalty
Ramsey 6 - ok, not match fit

Oxlade-chamberlain 8 - our best player
Cazorla 3 - all talk, but failed to walk the walk in the 120 minutes, but scored his penalty
Podolski 3 - was poor and him walking off when subbed was a disgrace

Sanogo 5- kaba diawara mk11, worked hard, but does not look like ever scoring for us (Thats cruel on Kaba, at least he hit the wood regularly, not row Z. Editor)

Subs
Giroud 6 - helped liven us up, scored his penalty
Gibbs 8 - very good performance
Kallstrom n/a - only on a few minutes, scored his penalty
