Shawcross Scythe Reason to Win League Time to move on
Lets win it for him

Wenger is not going to retract anything he said at Stoke, and why should he? No wonder Sky would not slomo the footage - it is clearly a scythe, it is reckless and it is rubbish to compare the Gallas tackle with it. Gallas's foot was on the ground when he made contact, Shawcrosses foot was six inches or more above the ground.
However as Wenger also said it is time to move on, but it is another reason to win the league. Arsene cannot put a time on Ramsey's recovery but he does think it will not be career threatening and that he will fully recover.
The media reaction has been horrendous, bar one or two honourable exceptions, towards Wenger during the last week, and some have labelled him a whinger as if he is the only manager to have ever complained about anything. I turned on Sky Sport News today to see O'Neil still complaining about the ref in last week's final. Fair enough - but doesn't that make him a whinger too?
One problem two years ago was that the team was incapable of moving on after the Eduardo injury, this team does, now, seem different. That team was unable to use Eduardo's injury as an inspiration to win the league. This team can now prove that Wenger is right and that they have the mental strength to move on.
Now to Burnley after International week.
A few months ago the clarets had a brilliant home record and a lousy away record. Now after a change of manager they have a faltering home record and only one point away from home all season. That's not a misprint that is L13 and D1.
If Arsenal had not underestimated Burnley away we would have two more points and be even closer to the top, but that is water under the bridge. Arsenal need to take the opportunity to improve their goal average. Burnley will be desperate, and there has been talk of getting in our face, well that's pub talk, I don't believe that will work at the Grove, it didn't work for Hull. It is fortunate that we are not away after international week, and that we are facing such a poor team. Wenger will also have to look forward to a very important game on Tuesday.
Injuries
Wenger will have the services of Arshavin and Denilson for Burnley, but not Song who is suspended for two games. Diaby is 50% - 50% but could play some role. Campbell has a slight groin strain. Vela came back too late from Mexico to be included in the squad.
Come on Arsenal let's have a 4-0 and stuff all those mealy mouthed pundits.
that tackle gave me nightmares.why would a player even choose to tackle like that? its disgusting for anyone to try and take that tackle lightly. i pray ramsey comes back stronger cos eduardo has yet to recover to his former self after his horror injury too.
can we dare hope this season might prove to be the season.
Can We Now Trust The Process 🤔🤷🏿♀️ or Should We Still Remain Cautious 🙇🏿♀️
The spirit is good, but will injuries take their toll?
Plus I do not have a lot of faith in Denilson unless he has learnt how to work hard like the rest of the team has

Arteta on his team's first away victory at a club above them in the Premiership since September 2015 at Leicester.
Arsenal fans like to think they are in some way 'above' others in terms of footballing knowledge just because our manager and team play footbal the right way. But opinions of players like Bendtner and Denilson prove we are just the same as everyone else.
