Plymouth Albion - an appeal from supporters

I'm slowly spreading the word via forums about our current plight and possibly calling in administrators. I'm not connected to the club but just wanted to give you an update on the situation as a worried supporter.


 


It's been a bad season all around for us and now we're faced with the prospect of administration, almost certain relegation and possibly worse unless the situation can be resolved.

The club need £250,000 to see the season through - no mean achievement but a fundraising campaign has begun with the club establishing a crowdfunder account. So far around £9000 has been donated by rugby fans across the world (£4000 online and £5000 at today's match) - proving that the rugby community is there for us when we need it.
 
There's also a growing social media campaign to raise awareness of the situation using the hashtag #getbehindalbi.

'Pie and a Pint for Plymouth' is one idea being thrown around. If 50,000 rugby supporters across the world donated the cost of a pie and pint (£5) then the £250,000 would be raised!

If there is anything anyone of you can do to help out, we would be most appreciative.
