The RBS 6 Nations kicks off this weekend and rugby fans will be able to follow all of the key action on our official YouTube channel. (www.youtube.com/rbs6nations)  The opening weekend of Rugby's Greatest Championship will see some mammoth clashes with England set for a difficult trip to France, Ireland host Scotland, while the reigning champions Wales entertain Italy at the Millennium Stadium.

The game highlights are uploaded to YouTube during each match and the RBS 6 Nations' YouTube channel will be building up to the weekend with exclusive interviews from key personnel from each of the six teams. Please note that the five minute offering in this year's championship will also be in Italian and French translation.

The supporters make the Championship what it is and the plan is to capture this through the 'Fan Camaraderie' series that will feature on the RBS 6 Nations YouTube channel throughout February and March.

This TV series will capture what it is like to be a fan on an RBS 6 Nations match day, with stadium footage and fan features before, during and after games.
"The popularity of the channel was very evident in year one and we are looking to build on this throughout this year's Championship with some innovative and exciting video content,” said RBS 6 Nations Chief Executive John Feehan. "The ability to deliver the key moments as soon as they happen from each game is certainly a great addition to our digital plans.”

Stephen Nuttall, YouTube Sports Director, said "There's a large, young, global and engaged rugby audience on YouTube.  We're confident that our partnership with the pioneering RBS 6 Nations helps grow the Championship and the game worldwide."
