Renault Boss Pat Symonds wants to see and aggressive Alonso for all of next season. After periods during his 2005 season he just did enough to claim his world drivers title and he claims that on some occasions you are required to attack in order to defend
"What I want to see next year is the real Fernando all year long, irrespective of championship positions," Symonds added. "I'm not implying that he did anything wrong this year, he did exactly what was required - but sometimes to defend you need to attack and I think that's one lesson I hope we've all learned from 2005 - that irrespective of championship positions we just keep going for the wins."
Fernando Alonso is also looking forward to the title and claims that he has less pressure on him now because he has already won a championship.
"Formula One will be very competitive in the upcoming years," said Alonso. "I have one championship now so I can concentrate to win more races with less pressure. Whatever happens, I have already proved that I can do the job and will try to enjoy F1 even more than I did in the past."
