Alex signed from Arsenal just before the friendlies of the 04/05 season. A promising defender and bares the number 2 shirt for the blues. He featured in the first 11, alongside O'Hare, Blatherwick and Evatt for the friendly clash which saw the Spireites crash out of the centenary cup 5-1 to Derby.
