Anthony Williams is the latest Hartlepool United player to go out on loan; the Welsh Stopper has gone back to the country of his birth and joined Swansea on a month's loan.
Pools are fast becoming the lower league library, as Williams becomes the fifth player to spend a period out on loan this season - and that's not even including young keeper Kevin Duncan.
Of all the players out and about though, Taff looks the most likely to have shot his bolt at Pools. He's been performing inconsistently at best for some time, and after losing his place to Provett has responded by indicating that he wants first team football - and making clear that he's prepared to go elsewhere if that isn't forthcoming at Pools.
That, together with Provett's good form and an experienced backup already at the club in Konstantopoulos, make it look like Taff's days at Victoria Park are well and truly numbered. Watch this space....
