Yet again a long trip brought out the best in Pools ..

Trailing 1-0 into the second half at Exeter Michale Woods equalised from close range and then just one minute later Billy Paynter turned and shot home to give his side a deserved three points.

Pools had been poor in the first half but picked up when Amond and Bates came on.

We are away at Crewe this Tuesday and another gritty performance could bring home the points.
