Are things looking up just in time? We head for Salford and the televised hiding-to-nothing cup tie on the back of a home defeat.
Not looking good on paper.
However, the 1-0 defeat by high flying Oxford saw Pools emerge from their hibernation looking like a side with energy and commitment. Even Brad Walker put himself about whe he came on for the injured Magnay and was close with a couple of efforts.
Magnay took a knock to the head and we really need him to recover before Friday. If he, Gray and Duckworth continue where they left off we will be in with a shout.
