New Team For Opener

How many times last season did we groan:"We need an entire new team." Well Sir Ronnie has just about delivered with no less than ten new faces available as we go into the first warm-up game against Billingham town. And they all look promising.

Three of them are goalies with 18 year old 6ft 3in goalie Peter Denton the latest. He was released by Rotherham last season but comes highly recommended by Andy Dibble. He joins fellow custodians Adam Bartlett and new first choice number one Trevor Carson.

The trio join seven new outfield players.

Defenders: Carl Magnay, Harry Worley and Jake Carrroll

Forwards: Kudus Oyenuga, Rakesh Bingham, Billy Paynter and Rhys Oates.

It is all so much more encouraging than this time last season. With more warm up games against Harrogate, Whitby and Spennymoor this week we will start to get more of an idea.
