Harewood Returns?

Nobody has tamed the Shrews on their own pitch this season - can a resurgent Pools be the first?

We have the advantage of having beaten Shrewsbury 2-0 at home earlier in the season, while Ronnie Moore had the benefit of being able to watch them live on TV last week. He might even have recorded it.

They're a big strong experienced side who play to their strengths, and a heavy pitch is more likely to help their cause than ours.

Mickey Mellon's side also have the benefit of an extra long rest after that game, but will be without centre half Nathanial Knight-Percival who was sent off against Luton. He is suspended after being sent-off in last Thursday’s 0-0 draw with Luton Town.

Ronnie Moore's dilemma is whether to tinker with the sikde which got him first win. He's likely to start with that side and hold back Marlon Haredwood whose physical presence could be useful later in the game.

Pools likely:  Flinders, Duckworth, Harrison, Jones, Austin, Bates, Woods, Tshibola, Franks, Fenwick, Bingham.

Subs  Maxted, Richards, Holden,  Compton, Walker, Featherstone, Harewood.

Shrewsbury: Leutwiler, Ellis, Goldson, Lawrence, Woods, Wesolowski, Gayle, Demetriou, Akpa-Akpro, Grant, Collins

Subs: Grandison, Vernon, Griffith, Mangan, Halstead, Clark, Grant.
