Slam Dunk for Pools

Goal

A header from Harrison Dunk two minutes from time spoiled what would have been a decent start for new manager Paul Murray ..

After a poor first half the new manager worked a bit of magic with his half time talk and his charges produced a much better second half, and they were worth a point.

Instead a big Cambridge side took the spoils 2-1.

Marleon Harewood came on for Ryan Brobbel in the second half and he made an impresiionn setting up the equaliser which Brad Walker gleefully belted home.

Both sides had chances after that, and Walker had a shot in injury time wich could have got us a point but it was saved by keeper Dunn.

Murray says he saw some good things - he now has a few days to build on thse and instill some confidence in his side.
