Jan Budtz and Godwin Antwi are Danny Wilsons latest signings making it 3 so far. As Pools look forward to life in League 1 Wilson is building his side as he looks for a side capable of promotion .

Goalkeeper Jan Budzt has been brought into the side to add competition for the goalkeeper and the fight for the number one shirt is now a two horse race as Jim Provett is yet to sign a contract renewal with the club.

Budzt signed for Doncaster Rovers back in 2005. He made his debut against Man City in the League Cup and he made a huge impact as he saved 3 penalties in a shoot out which resulted in Doncaster winning.

 

Budtz will be joined at the Vic by Liverpool centre-back Godwin Antwi. The 19 year old defender will spend one season on loan at the Vic. Antwi was named as Liverpool reserves captain aged just 18.
Pools played against Antwi last season when he spent two months on loan at Accrington Stanley.

 It does look like Pools are leading the race to sign Darryl Duffy as well. Pools are believed to have tabled a £150 000 which is being considered by Hull
