Hartlepool look to make it 23 games unbeaten tonight and a win will move us 8 points clear. Chester stand in the way who themselves are looking towards the playoffs

A victory tonight will move Pools 8 points clear at the top and a bumper crowd look set to cheer Pools all the way. Fans have been advised to buy tickets in advance suggesting it could be a near sell-out.

Chester came out on top at the Deva Stadium after coming back from behind to win 2-1, but Pools can take consolation that they needed to cheat. Artell decided to play the referee and he ended up getting Jon Daly sent off - a decision that was rescinded.

Hartlepool could have a huge boost tonight as Joel Porter and Willie Boland could both be in with a shout of getting in the squad. Micky Barron is expected to start at right back despite coming off during the game with Darlington
