Hartlepool's winning run and clean sheet run came to end today after drawinfg 1-1 with Shrewsbury. Hartlepool were 12 minutes of extending the record when Michael Symes scored in the 78th minute
The remarkable winning run of 9 games and clean sheet run of 8 games came to end against Shrewsbury after the game finished 1-1.
The winning run which started against Accrington Stanley, and the clean sheet run which started against Wycombe came to end when Michael Symes scored for the Shrews in the 78th minute. Pools were only 12 minutes off reaching the record books for the most games won without conceding a goal.

Hartlepool looked set for victory when James Brown scored the opener after 35 minutes.
Even though it is the end of the winning run Hartlepool have still gone 10 games unbeaten and have only conceded twice in 11 games
