Hartlepool travel to Spotland in the FA cup. Hartlepool go into the game highee in the League but neither side will be delighted with their starts to the season

Hartlepool travel to Rochdale this weekend in the first round of the FA Cup without Joel Porter or Darryl Duffy. Joel Porter will start his 2 month injury spell whilst Duffy has be banned from playing in the cup.

Hartlepool will be looking to erase the memory of last years cup embarrasment after struggling against Dagenham and Redbrige before going out to Tamworth in the second round.

Last week both sides went down 1-0. Hartlepool defeated by Barnet and Rochdale defeated by Bury.

Hartlepool are now without Proctor, Porter, Sweeney and Ali Gibb.

Rochdale are not allowed to play Darrell Clarke who is on loan from Hartlepool until New Years and he has made 10 appearances for Rochdale. Dale have not had the best of seasons so far and sit 4th bottom for the league.
