Humphreys returns

It is a move that most Pools fans will be relieved about. Our left side has been less than good in recent games today one of Pools most experienced players has returned from loan

Yesterday it seemed certain he would stay at Port Vale but he has now returned to Pools to fight for his place.

Many people have thought that our left side has been less than great in recent games and with Humphreys ability to play left midfield and left back makes him a vital asset to Pools

Wilson claims that 'Ritchie needed games and he got that at Port Vale' but Hartlepool have played just as many games that Humphreys would be able to play in.

Wilson says 'Humphreys is an important part of our squad and we want to see him challenging for his place in the side'.

It is still not knows if he will named in saturdays squad
