Hartlepool go into saturdays game firm favourites after 2 wins out of 2 at the Vic. Danny Wilson is expected to return Joel Porter to the first team after his performance on Tuesday night.

Hartlepool go into saturdays game hoping to make it 3 wins out of 3 at The Vic and a total of 4 unbeaten. However Shrewsbury will be no pushover as they proved against Stockport on Tuesday after a comfortbale 3-0 win.

Pools will only be without John Brackstone at the weekend so Wilson is expected to keep the same back line that has only conceded once in the last 3 games.

Pools last played Shrewsbury during Pools 2003 promotion season and Pools ran out 3-0 winners with goals from E Williams, Mark Tinkler and Kevin Henderson. And in the last 5 games Pools have not lost to Shropshire outfit.

Danny Wilson is expected to start with Joel Porter after his goal(s) against Mansfield on Tuesday and also has Mark Tinkler and Micky Barron back in contention for the game
