A fantastic first half in top gear. The second half played in second gear. A routine 0:2 victory against Burnley.
Raya 6 - Little to do
Calafiori 7 - Solid at LB. Surprising to see Hincapie instead of MLS come on
Gabriel 8 - Dominant at both end sof the pitch
Saliba 7 - Great to have him back
Timber 8 - Just a fantastic player
Zubimendi 7 - Rocked up, did the football thing
Rice 9 MOTM - A monstrous perfornance capped with a goal
Eze 7 - HAd some nice moments
Trossard 7 - A nice cross for Rice. (You're not allowed to give him more than a 4 on here mate)
Gyokeres 8 - His beat game so far
Saka 6 - Could've had two first half goals
Subs
Merino 6 - Not many chances to do what he does best
Nwaneri 7 - Looked lively. One excellent run and shot
Hincapie 6 - Didn't notice him
Norgaard 6 - Nothing to say really

Could we bump Raya up to a 7 for that last minute free kick save? We want that defensive record held by Chelsea.
Rice and Gyokeres our two best players.
Saka had to score one of those two chances.
But pretty much agree with the ratings.

Did he save it.
It just hit the post didn't it ?

Saka has been ill and only just recovered.
Well done on the ratings Henry

Yes, Saka looked out of sort and not his bustling self, gliding passed defenders.
F%%$K!!!
Saka cost moi 3 points.
I predicted 4-0 win![]()
Gyokere's "niggling injury" meant that Arteta decided to close down shop in 2nd half and just game management not to exert players unnecessary. And yet Zubi "felt something" and was substituted.
Merino was dire and really, playing Andre Annous or Merino will make no difference to that lineup since we are in total command at midfield.
Except with Merino playing deep in midfield, we setup a wall in midfield.

I couldnt watch the 2nd half but I can confirm Rice and Zubimendi and Trossard And Gyokeres and Timber and Gabriel and Calafiori and Raya and Saliba were passing the ball forward.
Eze was passing the ball backward A Lot.
Trossard and Gyokeres and Rice = Wow.
Did you enjoy Trossard's excellent cross Karsene?
Did you enjoy Rice and Zubimendi and Trossard's technical ability and vision Gunnersingh?

Lucky Lucky Arsenal.
Burnley hit the post unlike that Liverpool super strike that won them the game.
(The culprit was Zubi making his trademark bodycheck to take out a quick player gettign past him.)

Gabriel gave the foul away.

6 - Trossard - minus one point for being indiscipline and hot-headed.
Incident #1 - After being rough-up by Walker and dumped on the ground, in the next play or two, he charged into Walker from behind to get evens.
Incident #2 - Again, he was roughed up and bundled over and lost his head by lashing out with both feet. Luckily it did not connect whether by intention or accident, but he should keep his cool and played for the team instead of feeding his ego.

More than anything glad for Vik..
I gave an opinion some time back that although I have not lost faith at all but he needs goals... Botton line he was bought to put the ball in the back of the net..
If a full back is constantly out of position and or keeps getting beaten he faces bye bye...
if a keeper drops bo**ick alter bo**ock its see ya..
Shoulsd a Midfielder turn Into Ozil.... feck off
The same applies to Vik or any other forward. Goals win games : running around like an idiot counts for nothing I'm afraid and he has to be judged on goals returned.
For me, Arteta does not play him correctly, unfortunately Arteta picks the team and defines our strategy and to get the best otta Vik he has to adapt to him just as much as Vik needs to adapt to Arteta's Arsenal..

I don't like this take at all. Scoring goals is part of his job, but his main job like everyone else, is to find ways to help us win games. This is the best run we've been on in ages, and hes started every game. He is doing a ton of work for us, and scoring a decent amount of goals. He has the 3rd most goals in the league with 4.
Giroud score ZERO goals in helping France win a world cup. How many people do you know that think he shouldn't have been playing, or that care that he wasn't scoring?

The signs were there yesterday. People thought the big man couldn't play.
That pass to Trossard was unreal.
He was set up Saka for 2 chances.
Your view is far too simplistic. Our number 8's don't create chances (From open;play ( and that is one of their jobs roles.
Gyokeres is keeping 2 CB' Occupied. He' works harder than any striker - Look at the stats. He's scoring the goals we said we don't score.
I rate him highly.
