Player Ratings as Arsenal up For Cup v Boro

Arsenal dominated and could've scored more if they wanted, but Boro were awful and we didn't need to get out of first gear, there was a slight scare towards the very end but Woj made a very good save. Cazorla and Ozil our best players. It's more interesting now to speculate who we will get in the next round.

Szczesny - 6. Didn't really have anything to do. He only made two saves, one easy the other a blinder at the very end.

Chambers - 6. Didn't have much to do.
Gabriel - 6. Didn't have loads to do, but a solid debut with some good defensive moments, particularly one tackle in the second half.
Koscielny - 6. Didn't have much to do.
Gibbs - 7. Quality. Got forward really well and always offered an outlet. Good assist.

Flamini - 6. Did nothing wrong.
Cazorla - 8. Masterclass in the first half, good in the second half.

Alexis - 7. Worked hard and tried to make things happen.
Ozil - 8. Kept popping up all over with pieces of quality.
Welbeck - 7. Okay first half, better in the second half.

Giroud - 7. Good performance. Both goals good for different reasons.

Subs:

Rosicky - 6. Buzzed about and looked busy.
Walcott - 6. Didn't do much, but probably should've scored his chance.
Akpom - N/A. Not on long. Wish he'd been given a longer run.
