All the lighter and better to be fit and lean for the special 4th place trophy that Wenger has now, proudly, won more times than any other manager (The Editor's comments, Eduardo's ratings are below).

Szczesny 7 - solid enough game, could do nothing about the goal, made a few fine saves

Sagna 5 - poor game, seemed heavy footed
Mertsacker 6 - ok
Koscielny 6 - ok, was doing well, bit unlucky for the penalty to be given against him.
Gibbs 6 - ok in defence, poor in attack

Arteta 5 - too slow with his passing

Wilshere 5 - spent much of the game on the ground complaining

Cazorla 5 - poor game
Rosicky 5 - poor game
Podolski 4 - awful game

Giroud 5 - poor game

Subs
Ozil 5 - little impact
Oxlade-chamberlain 7 - upped our tempo and created our best chance
Sanogo 2 - missed our best chance of the game in injury time
