Stoke fans mocked Ramsey for 90 minutes jeer injured Theo

I don’t want to claim that every Stoke fan delights in injury and mayhem, but the ones I heard were cheering because Theo was injured. A fan sitting closer to them told me they were mocking Ramsey all night, and that they looked like an EDL rally.
Arsenal fans entertained themselves by singing 1-0 to the football team, meanwhile Pulis looked like a boxing trainer that shopped, or rather shop lifted, at Matalan, as he prowled outside the ring, correction, technical area.
In the absence of a beach towel Delap used his shirt as a dish wipe which many may think is the proper use for it. Although a mild night his throw -ins saw the ball descend with icicles attached. None of this particularly bothered the Arsenal, and with Chesney in goal there was none of the usual panic that took place with other keepers I won’t name.
When Theo’s 90 second shot hit the inside of the post and bounced across the front of the goal I did fear it would be one of those nights. Unfortunately it was the peak of Walcott’s evening, but not an omen of anything else.
Mostly this match was a bore; the last thing of any real importance was Squeakyarchie’s goal on 8 minutes. The goal came from a perfect cross by Bendtner. This meant that Stoke stopped, well for some of the time, time wasting.
They certainly didn’t start all out attack until the second half. Apparently this resurgence was due to Pulis using the hair dryer. However, each side was restricted to only four shots each on target for the whole 90 minutes. One of those shots was a belter by Carew, but Ches made a fantastic save.
Arsenal had slightly more shots off target at 5 to 3, but I had a feeling that Sunday was on their mind, they believed they could win without exerting themselves too much. This proved to be true in the finality, but it meant fans had an anxious 90 minutes, living in fear of a late minute equaliser.
The main reason the equaliser didn’t happen wasn’t just down to Chesney, but also to the brilliant ball playing antics of Arshavin. His ball control, dribbling and one twos with Nasri were a joy to watch and more importantly kept the ball out of harm’s way.
To sum up although they played with the handbrake on, and lacked a little sharpness the team showed mental strength in grinding out a very big three points. If I have left out any managerial clichés do add them below.
It’s always good to win, but I would much rather be watching football.

I was sat right next to the direspectful @#$%&. There was one youngish lad who I wanted punch sqaure in the face because he was showing off in front his girlfriend. Away fans don't usually bother me and I usually enjoy the banter but these boys (and girls I suppose) were utter pigs. What a horrible little team with horrible supporters.
everything about this game is overshadowed since i read this article: HOW ON EARTH CAN A HUMAN BEING WHO CLAIMS TO LOVE FOOTBALL MOCK A PLAYER WHO HAS JUST RETURNED FROM HAVEN HIS LEGS BROKEN DUE TO THUGGERY!!!!

Im a Stoke fan and quite frankly, Im getting bored of these very one sided batterings of my beloved team on your forums.
Lets talk some facts .....
1/ do Arsenal play an awesome to watch style of football that Stoke fans would love our team to play like ...... yes.
2/ have Arsenal always played this way ...... no. When George Graham was in charge I think you'll find your style was very similar to ours.
3/ do we have some dickhead fans ..... yes. But so do all football clubs! You'll find the vast majority of us just follow our team with unbelievable passion and we just want to be loud for our boys.
4/ are we proud of what happened to Aaron Ramsey .... of course not!?? .... nobody likes to see a player injured like that. Thankfully, it is the only time Ive ever witnessed such a nasty injury live .... and Ive been watching Stoke for 20 years. Its an isolated incident .... except it.
Why do we play the way we do?
Being a big club like yourselves, you probably dont realise what it is like to travel to Torquay on a rainy Tuesday night, be we do! ..... the game now revolves around money, and we somehow, miraculously, found ourselves in the golden land of the Premier League and desperately want to stay here so that we can develop. We have too, we have some very good football players in our team now. Etherington, Pennant, Whelan, Wilson and we continue to 'evolve' every transfer window. It is, quite obviously, work in progress .... but we have to stay in the Premier League to continue this!! If teams cannot cope with Delaps missiles, then we would be crazy not to play to this strength .... it is dangerous, and I think everybody accepts that.
The way the game revolves around money so much it gives us no option but to go about things the way that we do. Our players are commited, yes, but dirty ... no. Very much the same way as your George Graham team used to be.
Dont hate the players people .... hate the game.

Tell that to eduardo!! We've had faaaaar too many broken limbs. think it's 3 in the last 4 years (I might be wrong there, maybe 5 years). It ain't right.
While I appreciate you sticking up for the good fans. And I'm sure you have your share. But your travelling supporters have left a sour taste from goading us over a tackle that justified the red card it received. You've got a lot of gall coming on here to tell us it's isolated. Why are they allowed that much time on throw ins ALL THE TIME! From anywhere? That's why they added 5 mins, anything could have happened.
I thought at half time that maybe Wenger would take off Song, bring on Chamakh and go 442, but without Fabregas he couldn't do that as it would just leave Wilshere and Denilson there who are both would get drowned out by the Rugby team.
Stoke City/Stoke on Trent the collective just showed themselvs up last night with all of thier actions.
Nasri, Arshavin and Wilshere were good, when Arshavin cut in around the defender and gave it to Walcott Was the moment that stands out for me, Arshavin is brilliant.

im not a big fan of the way stoke fans behave at their away games but I'm going to stand up for their team here and make myself extremely unpopular. The team arent the fans and the fans arent the team.
nobody knew whether Shawcross meant it or not, I dont think he did personally, they are just one of a great many teams that go in hard and not just on our players but on everybody else. So theres no point singling Stoke out. And anyway Ramsey is better now so perhaps it is time to leave it.
meanwhile what Tony Pulis said about perceptions is probably correct. We have had miles more sendings off than them this season. And the stuff about Stokes brand of football is a bit of a myth. It might be a bit based on the physical aspects at throw ins and corners (then again how often do we all moan that ours isnt) but actually they are well capable of playing decent football on the ground, do any of you actually watch their home games? And did any of you notice how they kept us pegged back in the second half on Wednesday, largely through playing football on the ground? One of the few teams to do this at ours this season?
Everybody loves to follow preconceptions but it isnt as straighforward as people are saying. They have some decent players.

The card thing about us is a myth CD - most of our reds are for stupid things - nothing dangerous.Look at Sagna's sending off - it was nonsense - he had to go but it was nonsense. Diaby got sent off for behaving like a wuss, the only dangerous tackle was the one on him that caused him to react.

Flamini didn't get a red for that challenge on Corluka, still one of the worst challenges you're ever likely to see.
The person who gets the red is the one who reacts to the dangerous tackle> thats what most of paddy's reds were for
