It's been nearly a month since we have seen a Premiership game at home. What a way to run the game, some fans pay £2000 for a season ticket and they have to wait a month to see a match, and the assholes who run the game arrange for the team to be away that long. International breaks and away twice. Lucky Arsenal.

 Just when you thought it was safe to come out there will be another International break after Sunderland away next week, but at least it's only 3 weeks to the next home fixture.

It is not often I regret not having gone to a Carling Cup Match, yes I love watching the youth, but it's not a competition I care for, and after the first fifteen minutes I thought I had made a wise decision not to go. However it then kicked off with one of the most incredible youth performances ever.

Now I know Vela won't be scoring a hat trick every week, but this guy is special. He is a deadly predator, with a finish like a Greaves or Ian Wright. He should be in the first team as soon as possible, the goal tally will rise. This is not a snap judgment, friends gave me reports on him when he was in Spain, and I saw him in the Amsterdam Tournament and other pre season games.

He gets behind teams, is not easily pushed off the ball, is brave, and is not afraid to shoot. This guy is sensational and I although I should not over hype him (You just did. Ed), I can't help feeling he is one of the greatest prospects I have ever seen. Yes Wilshire is a great prospect too, but he is a boy, Vela is a man. Wilshire's time is soon but not as soon as Vela's.

The only problem is the long distances he has to travel for the Mexican National team. This is the main reason we have not seen him play a role so far. There is now a short window where he could get some action before the journeying starts again.

Tigers or Cloggers? Picking for two

Wenger will have to pick for two games today, a Tuesday night game in CL does not allow any time for injury recoveries. So somebody will have to be rested. Arsene is spoilt for choice, he has five strikers to choose from and that doesn't include Walcott, and hopefully Eduardo is to return soon.

Hull City are about to have a reality check, which is probably why their manager is making threatening noises about  tough tackles and how they intend to get stuck in and if someone gets hurt he doesn't mind. Tough tackles are fine, but if they don't care if someone gets hurt then that is reckless.

Just imagine if Wenger made a speech like that, how would the press react? Instead its Arsenal who are supposed to react, perhaps they are supposed to reply "oh yes we are fancy dan foreigners too clever for our own good and a kicking will be good for us".

I suspect its bluff, but this sort of approach should be stopped by the FA. If an Arsenal player does get hurt I suggest the club take Hull to court for the premeditated injury to a player. Considering Clichy was hospitalised last week there is a singular lack of sensitivity here. I hope Arsenal wipe the floor with them. Don't ease up after the first goal boys.

Apparently Song has passed a late fitness test, and Silvestre is now available, I wonder how we will react to him. I think I will just clear my throat, when subs are announced. Perhaps we should welcome him and then tempt Ronaldo here. By the way do you notice how some Gunners now give faint praise to Eboue? They say he would be a good player if he didn't dive so much.

 Never heard a Man U fan say that Ronaldo would be a great player if he didn't dive so much. Come on give Eboue a chance, he doesn't dive half as much as Ronaldo. He will do for me, and there will be a few more laughs on the way, and hopefully more goals.
