England Rugby August 2016 - In Review
NEWS England Rugby players Maro Itoje, Jack Nowell and George Kruis, plus England Women’s Rochelle Clark, Lydia Thompson and Vicky Fleetwood, unveiled the new England Rugby 2016/2017 alternate kit from Canterbury. The kit sees a reintroduction of navy blue, a popular colour used in England kits over the last 25 years, alongside red and white. The front of the shirt sees a unique graphic of the St George’s cross feature printed into the fabric. England U18s:
England U18s have named their squad ahead of a three-match tour of South Africa. The U18s will face France U18 (12 August), South Africa Schools A (16 August) and South Africa Schools (20 August). Full Squad details here
England Women: England Women U20 squad has been named to take on Canada U20 in a three-game series at Nottingham Trent College this month. A squad of 26 - including five senior-capped players - will come together for a two-week camp which starts (Saturday) before the three matches against the North American age-group team.England Women U20 squad named to take on Canada Men's 7 Sevens Success In Rio Marks Significant Moment for Rugby.... Bibby and his team mates won a silver medal after losing in the Rio final to Fiji in the sport's debut at the Olympic Games.
