England captain Lewis Moody and Australian counterpart Rocky Elsom have both signed and donated their match worn shirts from Saturday’s Cook Cup clash between the two countries for charity.

England put in a truly memorable performance against a strong Wallaby side in a historic 35-18 victory and all players wore a special commemorative shirt that had the iconic poppy image situated on the right sleeve to help promote the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.

The shirts were exclusive to the match and was the first time England wore their new away shirt. Profits from the auction will be split 50/50 between the Royal British Legion and the RFU’s Injured Players Foundation*.

Both are now available to bid on through an official RFU eBay account. Please click the below links to be taken directly to each auction:

Bath Rugby’s Lewis Moody, who led the national side out for the fifth successive match against the Wallabies, is more than happy to lend his support, and said: The chosen charities have a strong affiliation with the game of rugby and both Rocky and I are delighted to be able to help out such great causes.”

Wallabies skipper Rocky Elsom is also delighted to lend his support, and said: “I’m more than happy to help these two great charities and I hope we raise a decent chunk of money.”

* Please note: eBay only allows you to select one designated charity to donate to, but all profits will be split 50/50 between the Royal British Legion and the RFU Injured Players Foundation
